Fence work was sidetracked by weather!

Special thanks to Rodrick McGrew and Tim Morris for coming out Friday to assist with starting our first fence project.  We were able to put about 3 1/2 hours in, on Friday afternoon and put in one H-Brace for the starting point and T-Posts that spanned approximately 300′.  The initial run on the west side of the property is going to be approximately 1,350 feet.  After putting in 3 1/2 fairly strenuous hours, we settled in for the evening to sit around the campfire and relax, so that we could get up Saturday morning and try to get our T-Posts out to about 900′ and start stretching the wire.  BUT…We woke up to 25 mph winds and temperatures that prevented us from doing any additional work on Saturday.  Went to the hardware store to get the material to set the H-Braces, and will try to get the initial brace set this week, as well as driving an additional 20 T-Posts, to get us to our next H-Brace.  Once we get that part done, we will begin stretching the first bit of fencing.  Tim and Rodrick went back to Dallas, due to the weather, but promised to come back out to assist with the fence at another time.  They were a tremendous help.  I will post some pics once we get a little further along.  Looking forward to completing this one side!  That is it for now.
