Weekend Happenings

This weekend, we again had rain.  That being said, we did most of our work indoors.  With the exception of getting our mailbox set.

We, now, believe that we can actually receive mail.  Gonna have to send ourselves something to verify.

Brenda organized the trailer a bit more to make it more livable.  She has done an awesome job getting the most of every space that we have available to us.  She also did the grocery shopping and even took a trip to Tractor Supply with me.  I went to show her one item and we left with a cart full.  I don’t think she knew how much stuff Tractor Supply carried.  I may have made a mistake!

Also, did some work in the guest house.  Completed most of the insulation, put the furring strips up so that I could start the tongue and groove wall boards.  Below is a pic of part of the wall.  I had hoped to get two walls completed, but ran into a snag.  I have located every tool that I had at the Celina house, with the exception of the only one that I need, a jigsaw, to cut the wall boards around the electrical outlets.  I did, however, find an ungrounded one that was purchased by my dad, probably around the time of my birth, that I was able to use for a bit, until I broke the blade trimming around a window.  So I got to the first outlet on the second wall and had to move on to wall number 3, which I was able to get about halfway through before needing the jigsaw again.  Hopefully, one more weekend and I will have the walls completed.

Gonna get a quick shower and call it a day.  Good night, all!
